Mary Anne Martin-Lutz, 80, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 5, 2022 following a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
Mary Anne was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 23, 1942, to Windsor (Bud) and Virginia Harper-Martin. She graduated from Holy Spirit Grade School and from Scecina Memorial High School in 1960.
Mary Anne was a devout Catholic and she was very active at Saint Simon the Apostle Catholic Parish of Indianapolis.
Mary Anne is survived by her husband, John, and her three children, Rick (Jodi) Koesters, Ginny (Tom) Hall, and Murph (Jim) Bradley, stepdaughter Darlene Groves, stepson John Lutz, brothers John Martin and David Martin, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren one niece and one nephew.
Viewing will take place from 9:30 am until the start of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at Saint Louis de Montfort Catholic Church on Friday, July 15, 2022
Entombment at Calvary Cemetery will be limited to family members.
The family would like to thank Drs. Gary Ayres and Patrick Healey (Ascension St. Vincent), El Beulah Senior Village, Still Waters Adult Day Center, Hamilton Trace Nursing Home (Memory Care Unit), Heart to Heart Hospice and Rev. Thomas Haan (Pastor, St. Louis de Montfort) for their professionalism and loving dedication to Mary Anne’s care on her fourteen plus year battle with Alzheimer’s.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Alzheimer’s Association “The Longest Day” in memory of Mary Anne.
