Mary Katherine Hamill

Mary Hamill, was taken home to live with her heavenly father on September 23, 2021. She was born February 9, 1945 at Liberty, Indiana daughter of Russell and Bonnie Dennis. She married, husband Eddy Hamill, on August 10, 1963. She has a son Scott Hamill and daughter-in-law Monica, grandchildren Emily (Ryan) Flannery and Seth Hamill, great-grandchildren Jack and Rhet Flannery. She is survived by sisters; Carolyn Jessup, Peggy Barrett, Barbara (Pete) Taylor, and brothers; Duane (Barbara) Dennis, Don (Cheryl) Dennis and Kenneth Dennis. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and sister Jeanetta James and brother Tom Dennis.

Mary will be remembered and missed by numerous extended family members and dear friends.

She was a member of the Plum Creek Christian Church for 29 years and First Baptist Church in Rushville for 29 years. Past member and held offices of Food, Fad & Fashion Club, Mays PTO past president, Plum Creek Ladies Aid, Psi Iota Psi, past den mother of Mays Boys Scouts, member of Euchre club for many years, member of Fellowship Class at First Baptist Church, Member of Monday Night Ladies Bible Study and a graduate of New Salem High Class of 1963.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Cemetery, Raleigh, Indiana, with Brother Warren Engel.
