Mary Ann Hall

Mary Ann Hall, 74, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Geist Community Church (6697 W. 900 N., McCordsville, IN 46055). The visitation will be at 1 PM. The memorial service will be at 2 PM. We will observe social distancing and require masks to be worn.

Mary was born December 9, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She lived for a short time in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Growing up she spent several summers with her grandparents on their farm. She loved to tell stories about those summers. She graduated from Thomas Carr Howe High School. She was married May 15, 1965 to Robert Lee Hall who preceded her in death February 5, 2018. They had been married over 52 years.

She was an active member of Geist Community Church for 27 years. She taught Sunday school with elementary school age children along with her husband for over 30 years. She also served as a volunteer with Child Evangelism Fellowship. She worked for State Farm, CP Morgan, and Sallie Mae.

Mary loved the Lord and people, especially her family. Lovingly known to all of them as Nanny. She enjoyed ceramics and scrapbooking, as well as sending and receiving greeting cards. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling, and fishing with her husband in their younger days.

She was preceded in death by her parents Carl David Stich and Marie (Mitchell) Borton and her stepfather William Borton.

She is survived by her two daughters Vicki Sue Stenger (Joseph) and Pamela Ann Hall. Her three granddaughters Rachel, Rebecca, and Meylen. Her three great-grandchildren Raul, Laila, and Felicia. Also her two sisters Sharon Rainwater and Deborah Money.
