Martha Rochelle Jean Claude 61, of Franklin, Indiana, Daughter of John Lincoln Cowling II., and Katherine Dolores Everheart, was born on August 29th, 1962. Passed away at her home, and she entered into her Heavenly Home with praises and Thanksgiving to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 24TH, 2024 Martha Rochelle is a God Fearing Woman that Loves Jesus with her whole heart. Her relationship with Christ was very important to her and she took that very seriously. She honored the Lord with her life by putting the Lord first in everything she did. Being an avid prayer warrior, going to Church on Sunday's, she did Bible studying at home everyday, leading the Lost to Christ, and she loved listening to her Gospel Music. Martha was a very Loving, Sweet, Kind, Thoughtful, Intelligent, Exceptional, Dedicated, Devoted, and Loyal Mother, Daughter, Aunt, Cousin, Friend, and was a Dog Mom to six Yorkies.

She loves her Family very much with her whole heart, she cared very much about her Family and Family meant the world to her. She always gathered together with Family every holiday of the year. She had a love for cooking, was an amazing cook, and would prepare some delicious meals for her family during the holidays. Her greatest blessing and joy by far was when she became a Mother to her precious Son Brandon Clanton Cowling, whom unfortunately passed away 120 day's later after birth. Her second greatest blessing and joy was watching her Nephew and Nieces grow into Adulthood, whom she is most proud of. Martha Rochelle was Saved, Sanctified, Baptized, filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, and was an Ambassador for Christ every single day since she was a young child and all throughout her life. Her faith in God was very strong and truly unwavering. She always showed care, thoughtfulness, and concern for others. She had a big heart, was a huge giver, and would always lend a helping hand wherever and whenever she was needed. Martha Rochelle loved spending time with family, traveling, and was a dedicated concert attendee. She had an eye for fashion and she always loved to dress up fancy for church and other special occasions. She loved her clothes, hats, shoes, jewelry, and handbags. Martha Rochelle Graduated from Franklin Community High School, in Franklin, IN, Class of 1980. Martha Rochelle was Employed at Arvins Meritor, and she Retired from there after many many years of hard work, dedication, and service. Martha Rochelle leaves to cherish her memory two Sisters Katherine Clark (Steven) of Franklin, IN, and Margaret Paul (Warren) of Indianapolis IN. One Brother Clayton Cowling (Lisa) of Indianapolis, IN. Nieces/ Niece In-Law: Khalilah Clark, Constance Cowling, Diane Hill, Christian Vandyke, Desiree Cowling, and Calisha Clark; Nephew/ Nephew In-law's: Stephen Clark, Brandon Vandyke, Eddie Hill, Dan Yohe. Several Cousins, Boyfriend: Tony Reedy of Franklin, IN, and Dear Friend's. Martha Rochelle was proceeded in death by her Parents, the late John Lincoln Cowling II., and Katherine Dolores Everheart. One Brother: John Logan Cowling III.; Step Father: James Alvis Everheart; Her late Husband, Gene "Fafa" Jean-Claude; Her late Son Brandon Clanton Cowling; Several Aunts, Uncles, and some Cousins. Visitation is Saturday, August 17, 2024, 10:30 am until 12:30 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.

Funeral service will begin at 12:30 pm. Pastor Leon Graves officiating.

Burial to immediately follow at Franklin Greenlawn Cemetery, Franklin, Indiana.
