Martha Ann Chilton

In loving memory of
Martha Ann McCary Chilton went to be with the Lord on April 1, 2022. Martha was born September13, 1938, in Fredonia Kentucky. She moved to Indianapolis, Indiana as a child and a graduate of Crispus Attucks High School. Martha retired from Fort Benjamin Harrison Finance Center after 30+ years of service, as well as Lawrence School district. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved good food, playing the piano, bowling, playing games & traveling. She loved the Lord and was a founding member of Northside Christian Methodist Episcopal Church (Now, Emmanuel C.M.E. Church). She was a faithful member of Phillips Temple CME church. A member of Stewardess Board, Missionary board, and choir member. People often referred to her as a nice & sweet person.

She is survived by her children, James Chilton (Patrice) & Shawnette Chilton- Brown; Grandchildren, Morgan Bailey, Whitley Chilton and Otis & Kathy Boyd(brother & sister in law) and a whole host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

She was Proceeded in death by(mothers) Helen Grace Hollins and Evangelist Mildred Boyd and (father) James B. McCary. She will be loved and missed by many!
