Marshall Aaron Wolkoff

January 16, 1981 — February 17, 2025

Indianapolis, IN

Marshall Aaron Wolkoff, 44, passed away Monday February 17th, 2025. Always loved by anyone he encountered, with a huge smile and contagious laugh. He cared deeply for his family and friends, and was known for his kind nature and humor.

Marshall attended the Heron School of Art and IUPUI where he studied his passions. He was a gifted and skilled writer and painter. He enjoyed making music with his best friend Scott, whom he was preceded by in death. Scott's sister Penny, husband Tim, and their son and daughter were family to him. He referred to Penny as his other sister. Marshall was a playful uncle and his nephews loved to be around him. Surviving family members are his father Louis, two sisters Bradley and Blair, and partner Tracy Lynn Barry. Tracy has said Marshall had taught her the meaning of devotion and they had dreamed of the future of a house in the country with their animals. He was a blessing to her as to all.

He spent his last years working in retail management, with an admirable and strong work ethic. His employees felt respected by him, saying that when working for Marshall, he made them feel more capable. He would guide lost souls, always taking the time people needed. He showed the greatest respect and compassion for all whose lives he touched, especially to those experiencing homelessness and addictions. He also had a strong passion and love for helping animals as well.

A Celebration of Life Party will be held Saturday February 22nd from 1-5pm at Lions Head Condominiums Clubhouse, 7420 Lions Head Dr Indianapolis, IN 46260. A go fund me will be set up in Marshall’s name organized by Blair Wade to help cover funeral home and end of life expenses. Anything above and beyond will be donated to The Horizon House and Heaven after Hell Animal Rescue.
