Marsha Kathryn "Downard" Jacobs was born October 27, 1952. She died unexpectedly on August 16th just a few months before her 68th birthday. She had dementia, diabetes, and congestive heart failure, but she always had a smile on her face and was happy to see anyone.
Marsha is preceded in death by her husband, Tim; father, Bill Downard; and grandson, Joshua Colaric; as well as many other loved ones. She is survived by her mother, Patricia Koons; daughters, Kathyrn (Brian) and Carrie; grandsons, Matthew and Sean; granddaughter, Laura; sisters, Anita (Dane) and Darlene (Robert); brothers, Ronald (Justine) and Ted (Debra); many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, as she came from a big, loving family.
Marsha grew up with loving parents and siblings. Summer vacations consisted of camping, swimming, fishing, and bonfires with aunts, uncles and cousins. She loved swimming and skiing, and was good at it.
Later in life, she traveled overseas with her Military husband, Tim, to Germany and Italy. She loved vacationing with her girls, sisters, Mom, and family with trips like cruises, Disneyland, Branson, Gatlinburg, Memphis (to see Elvis's Graceland) and many other places. She loved shopping and doing word search puzzles and not to forget she loved BINGO and the slots at the Casinos.
Marsha was a member of Eastern Star and Rebekahs, as well as a church goer, but in the lasts few years was unable to attend. She had a strong faith and knew where HOME was. The memory of her tender heart, loving spirit and a smile that lit up a room will live on in the hearts and minds of all who were blessed to know her.
