A celebration of life for Marlon Lee Kimbrough

Marlon Lee Kimbrough was born June 30, 1958, the son of Cornelius Kimbrough Senior and Mary Lee Kimbrough (Sanders) in Indianapolis, IN. Marlon attended Mary E Cable School # 4 and Crispus Attucks; he also attended the University of Minnesota.
Marlon was raised in a Christian home and was the third of seven children. He later became a member of Greater St Mark church, and he helped in the church’s soup kitchen.
Marlon was united in Holy Matrimony to his first wife, Linda Jackson and later to Lustine Jenkins. Marlon was a QMA at various nursing homes and he retired from Central State Hospital.
Marlon was so loved by his family and friends. He had such a special relationship with his nieces and nephews. Marlon was athletic, outgoing and lived live to the fullest. We will truly miss his wonderful spirit. Marlon loved old school music and the blues, he was always ready to sing a song and dance!!
Marlon was proceeded in death by his father – Cornelius Kimbrough Sr and son Marlon Lee Kimbrough Jr.
Marlon leaves to cherish his loving memory his mother – Mary Lee Sanders, children –Jamon Kimbrough and Kendra Gallagher, grandson – Aumoir Garnett Jr, sisters Pamela Watson and Coreatha Kimbrough, brothers – Cornelius, Rodney (Toni), Curtis (Deborah), David (Ashanti), uncle – Terry Kimbrough and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family of Marlon Lee Kimbrough wishes to express our sincere thanks for the thoughts, prayers and other expressions of love during our time of bereavement.
