Marlene Winer (Rose), 83, of Fortville, Indiana joined heaven from her home on Sunday, May 24th, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born in Alva, Kentucky on September 27th, 1936. She grew up the daughter of a coal miner in Black Star, Kentucky and was a graduate of Black Star High School.
Marlene enjoyed the flowers in her yard, reading, traveling to see family, being around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and the occasional gossip in the family talking room.
She was preceeded in death by her parents Walter and Pearl Rose and her husband of 49 years Charles (Bud) Winer. Marlene leaves behind her beloved children Charles (Patricia), Michael, and Susan, 6 grandchildren, Jessica (wade) Mcdowell, Walter (Laura), Simon (Kristen), Cody, Amber, and Cori. 5 Great-grandchildren Everett, Brantley, Weylin, Lawrence, Haisley, Charlie Jr., Jackson, and Tinsley. 5 Step-grandchildren Autumn, Brook, Owen, Kennedy, and Zion and her beloved brother Ronald Rose.
