Mark Dale Hoogerhyde, 60, of Kokomo, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Kokomo on December 2, 1959 to Wesley and Ruth (nee Klein) Hoogerhyde.
Mark married Diane (nee Stage) Duncan on April 8, 1984. They divorced in 1988 but remained very close friends.
Mark worked as a job setter at Chrysler Transmission for 22 years. He enjoyed going to the shooting range, playing video games, mudding and trail riding in his Jeep, and most especially, he enjoyed spending time with his family and his beloved dog, Maggie.
Mark is survived by his father, Wesley Hoogerhyde of Kokomo; children, Jennifer (Michael) of Marion, Brandy (Blake) of Wabash, Kyle of Converse, and Xandra of Kokomo; grandchildren, Aubree, Carter, Phoenix, and Paisley; his aunt, Dorothy Klein; uncle Glen (Vanessa); several nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth; and his sister, Kathy Gresley.
A Celebration of Mark’s life will be held at a later date.
