Marjorie Ann Remmo

Marjorie "Margie" Ann Strange Remmo, 73, of Indianapolis, IN passed away October 29, 2021. She was born November 3, 1947 in Washington, IN, the daughter of James “Pat" and Rosemary (Summers) Strange. Margie worked most of her career for Eli Lilly and retired from there as an editor in 2008. She spent some of her retirement volunteering and working for St Paul Hermitage. Margie was an avid reader and loved her cats. In her later years, her love and zest for life grew and enabled her to connect with many people who will miss her dearly.
Margie is survived by her daughter Traci Remmo, daughter-in-law Christine Duff, sisters Susie (Richard) Braun and Rachel (Pat) Kelly, brothers Ron (Marilyn) Summers and Terry (Sharon) Strange and brother-in-law Doug Ellington. She was preceded in death by her daughter Christine Remmo, brother Steve Strange, and sisters Barbara O’Mara, Sharon Ellington and Nancy Brady.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Paul Hermitage, 501 North 17th Ave, Beech Grove, IN 46107. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
