Marilyn Kay Dewey

Marilyn Kay Dewey, age 82, of New Whiteland, Indiana passed away at 11:14 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was born to the late Sanders Allen and Zora Kathrine (Barker) Poisal on August 26, 1937 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Marilyn graduated from Lawrence High School. She was united in marriage in 1957 to William Dewey Jr. and this union was blessed with 4 wonderful children. Marilyn was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family and baking.

She is survived by her loving children, Michelle Brown, Alma Sutton and her husband Chris, and Nicole Moeller-Fernandez and her husband Robert; her grandchildren, Sarah, Lani, Danielle, Shelby and her husband Dalton, and Michael; her great grandchildren, Reagan, Nevaeh, and Lotus; and her brothers, Robert Poisal and his wife Jeanne and James Poisal and his wife Carol.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband William Dewey Jr., her son Michael Dewey and her brothers Charles Poisal and William Poisal.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 3, 2020 at Indiana Funeral Care - Greenwood Chapel, 2433 East Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana 46143.
