Marilyn Joan Fulner, age 92, passed away peacefully at home on September 7, 2022, surrounded by family. She was born May 21, 1930, in Brooklyn, New York to Thomas and Anastasia McLaughlin. She married the love of her life, Thomas C Fulner, on February 8, 1958, who precedes her in death along with her sister Mary Helen McLaughlin.
Marilyn attended high school at the St. Angela Hall Academy in Brooklyn, NY. and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Education from the College of Mt. St. Vincent, on the Hudson in NYC.
She is a devoted Catholic, and she led her life always thinking of others. During her time at the College of St. Vincent, founded by the sisters of Charity, the values of love, compassion and forgiveness made the greatest impression on her. Marilyn greatly valued her love for God and devotion to family with the teachings instilled in her by her parents, Thomas and Anastasia.
Marylin is survived by 9 children, Laurie Natalizia (David), Terence Fulner (Kathy), Carol Sandberg (Dan), Tom Fulner (Shari), Scott Fulner (Pam), Stacy Edgecomb (Mike), Diane Robinson, Guy Fulner (Mary), and Eileen Weaver (Bob), 21 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
