Maria G. Kim

Our dear Mother, Maria G. Kim, sadly passed away at the hospital on the evening of December 13, 2023 at the age of 80 after a long battle with lung disease.

Maria graduated with a master degree in nursing and became a registered nurse in Korea where her sincere caring and giving her hearts to many patients at the hospital were remembered. After deciding to immigrate to US, she moved to Fishers, Indiana, where she owned and ran a retail store with her husband.

It would be wrong to say that Maria lost her battle over a serious lung disease because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined to get better and try to make an example of what truly matters in life. Also, even when she was sick, she always smiled at us when we visited her and never stopped being a loving mother. Although she is no longer with us, our mother will be dearly missed and remembered by many people and finally she will be resting in a wonderful place with full of peace and happiness.

She is survived by her husband, Abraham Kim of 57 years, three children and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on December 20, 2023
