Maria Guadalupe Padilla

Maria Guadalupe (Hernandez) Padilla, age 62, of Greenwood, Indiana passed away at 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born to the late Romualdo Hernandez and Maria Guadalupe Velasquez Hernandez on May 12, 1957 in Guadalajara, Mexico.

In 1998 Maria married Joe Padilla in California and he passed away in 2016. She was a stay at home mom most of her life and loved every moment she got to spend with her children and grandchildren. Maria enjoyed knitting and gardening.

She is survived by her loving children, Paula Ramos, Gregoria Ramos, and Aken Bosch and her grandchildren, Lilly Escutia and Xavier Bosch. As well a numerous extended relatives.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2019 at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church, 335 South Meridian Street, Greenwood, Indiana 46143. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Father Todd Goodson officiating. Burial will take place in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Indiana.
