Marguerite (Marge) L. Reinhardt went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 28th, 2023. She was the widow of Kenneth E. Reinhardt. She was 74 years old and living in Indianapolis. Marge was born in LaCrosse, WI on February 7, 1949 to Robert and Phyllis (Hugebach) Seitz. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, step-mother Betty (Moore) Seitz, her brother James Seitz, sister Kathleen Bennett and husband Ken Reinhardt.
Marge is survived by her son Kenneth R., daughter Marriann J. and extra special granddaughter Giavanni. She is also survived by her sister Patricia Kapinski, and many other family members. She worked many jobs over the years including Activity Director at a few nursing homes in Indianapolis, cook in a restaurant while in Muncie, IN, and “school lunch lady" in Davison, MI where she retired. She always shared laughs and love with everyone she met.
Marge loved her kids with all her heart and relished every moment with them. She made sure everyone of their friends also felt loved. When her kids were in high school, she was a Box Mom for the Ben Davis Marching Giants and had fun every minute. She even continued hemming pants for the band for a few years after her kids had graduated.
When Ken and Marge moved to Davison, MI in 1995, she volunteered to hem uniforms for the Davison High School Music Department. She also spent many years volunteering with the Davison School Library and was even president of their Board. She was a faithful member of St. John Catholic Church, Queen of her Red Hat group (and they had the best times together), she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, involved in the Daughters of Isabela at St. John and a member of many ministries there.
Marge and Ken moved back to Indianapolis, IN in 2019 to be closer to their kids and granddaughter. A funeral mass will be held on Friday March 10 at 11:30am, with visitation before from 10-11:30am at St Luke Catholic Church. Live-stream available at https://youtube.com/@stlukecatholic.
