Marcia Denise Manning Taylor, 62, of Gary, IN received her calling from heaven Sept. 18, 2023 in Indianapolis, IN. She was surrounded with love and prayers from family and friends, near and distant, past and present, alive and passed.
Just as her parents, Henry (dec.) and Barbara Manning, Marcia was a self-sacrificing, charitable, God-fearing woman, who was a fighter in many aspects of her life. Graduating from Lew Wallace High School, her service in the military, and graduating from college is just but a small part of her life. Majority of her life was dedicated to meeting the needs of others, whether it was by food, shelter, money, time, and/or encouragement, by the good grace of God.
On earth, Marcia still lives on through her incredible mother, Barbara Manning; sister, Dr. Marshanell (Albert) Manning-Wright, along with nieces, a nephew, and a great-niece; 3 children, KeJwan and Konstance Hudson and KeShawnna (Anthony) Taylor-Hughley, along with 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; aunt, Maxine (Ernest dec.) Gilliam; uncle, Stephan Walker; and many other loving relatives.
In Heaven, Marcia joins her father, Henry Lee Manning, and husband, Carl Anthony Taylor, amongst other dearly missed family and friends…but most important of them all, Jesus Christ, our forever Lord and Savior.
The family is grateful for all prayer and support. We also would like to encourage everyone to live the Will of God, so that we may see each other again, with joy, in Heaven.
Visitation is Saturday, September 30, 2023, 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.
