Mamie Vinette Laws

   Mamie V Laws, age 58, of Charleston Mississippi, passed away on February 9, 2024, in Indianapolis, IN. Mamie was born on September 4, 1965, in Charleston, Mississippi. She was a loving and caring individual who was known for her outgoing and outstanding personality.

   Mamie is survived by her beloved family members: James, Glenda, Doris (Darrell), Jimmy (Evelyn), Lisa (Jimmy). Her children Sophia, William, Alfonzo and Eula and also her 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her dear brother Alfonzo and her parents Eula and Floyd.

   Mamie attended Gage Park High School and later pursued a career in EVS at a hospital. She was dedicated and committed to her work, always striving to provide the best service possible.

   Outside of her career, Mamie had a variety of hobbies that brought her joy. She loved cooking for family and friends. She had a green thumb and enjoyed taking care of her plants. She also loved shopping and indulging in delicious meals at restaurants. Mamie cherished spending quality time with their sisters during their weekend getaways.

The loss of Mamie V Laws will be deeply felt by all those who knew and loved her. She leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love. May she rest in peace.
