Lucille Elisabeth Knue

Lucille Elisabeth “Lucy” Knue (Zender) passed away peacefully on August 14,2024. She was 86 years old. 

Lucy was the eldest daughter of Peter and Lucille Zender, born in Chicago Illinois. In 1974, she and her husband Jim moved to Edinburgh where she lived for the rest of her life. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and volunteered at the food pantry. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Henry, her husband Jim, and her daughter-in-law Charla.

Lucy is survived by her much loved children Susan (Iver)Small, Steven (Shirley)Knue, Peter Knue, and Paul Knue. Also, her cherished grand-children Stephanie Knox, Zachary 

(Kenyon)Knue, Aaron Knue, Alyson (Riley) Mudd, Jenna Small, and Carson Knue, and her great grandchildren Sebastian Knox, Addalynn Knue, Kynnley Knue, and Eliza Mudd. 

She is also survived by her siblings, Joyce (Henry’s wife), Mary (Bob)Bywalec, Kay (Grant)Haring, Joe (Jamie)Zender, Tom (Linda)Zender,and John (Debbie)Zender and many nieces and nephews.
