Lucia Beck

Lucia Ysidra Beck (Buffington), 83, of Noblesville, Indiana passed away after a long and well-lived life on July 9, 2023. Lucy was the devoted wife of William "Dave" Beck for 22 years and always the brightest smile in the room. She was a wonderful and loving wife and mother who gave her all to her family, always their biggest cheerleader and constant supporter. Lucy was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity, truly an inspiration to us all.

Planes, trains and bus trips! Lucy and Dave spent many years traveling, from bucket-list destinations to mission trips to visiting family. Back home at "The Ranch," Lucy enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens, painting, crafting, filling shoe boxes for Samaritan's Purse with special items, working the Fair Train, learning to play the organ, her church family and, of course, her black kitties and Birdie. Lucy was a woman of strong faith and missions were her heart. She instilled in her family the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right, a true role model and inspiration to all who knew her, especially her family. She will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Lucy was predeceased by her parents, Camilo and Louise Alonso; her sister, Marie Ernst and son, Curt Buffington. She leaves behind her husband, Dave Beck; sisters, Jeanie Entwistle and Pat Odvarka; brother, Nino Alonso; children, Jeff Buffington, Julie Gill (Rodger), Joe Buffington (Alice), Jeanne Sorrow (Keith), Jim Beck (Jane) and John Beck (Susan); grandchildren, Michael Buffington, Chris Buffington (Diana), Paige Buffington, Evan Beck (Brittney), Erin Allen (Drew), JT Beck (Sienna), Tyler Gill (Kayla) and Baylee Gill; and great-grandchildren, Adalee, Beck, Easton, Colt, Emmett, Charleigh, Alaina, Día and Luna. Lucy is also loved and remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Lucy's friends and loved ones are invited to a Celebration of Life that will be held at a later date.

She will always be in our hearts. Rest in peace, Lucy.
