Louise Ann Parker (“Ann”) went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 20, 2022. She passed peacefully in the early morning hours.
Ann was born on December 22, 1940, in Rockford, IL to the late Paul and Doris (McCollough) Parker. Ann was the oldest of 2 children, Steven Paul Parker (Leilani) of Rockton, Illinois.
Surviving children are Chris (Sherry), Shane and Keri Baughman. Surviving grandchildren are Jared, Tyler, Jenna, Riley (Ciera) and Noah Parker.
Ann lived much of her life in Illinois, Florida and for the last 9 years in Indiana. She graduated from Rockford High School in 1958 and earned her Associates Degree in Business. During her life in Florida, she owned and operated her own dog grooming business, which she had many fond memories.
Ann was a committed Christian and gave her life to Christ at a very young age. Ann worked hard her entire life, retiring at the age of 64. Ann loved her family and was committed to caring for her grandchildren for many years in her retirement. She had many friends over the years, but her heart was always with her children and grandchildren. She prayed for her entire family daily and loved knowing what was going on with them each day. Her family and her Father in Heaven gave her the greatest joy in this life on earth.
Ann loved reading and read thousands of books over the years. She loved reading her bible and doing her devotions and did so until a few days before she passed. Ann loved watching football (the 85 Bears) and golf and had many opinions about politics. She loved watching classic movies and TV programs as well. Ann loved all animals, including her last kitty, Pippen who gave her much happiness over the last few years.
Ann was a kind and loving person. We will all miss her dearly.
