Lori Michelle Hacker, 56, of Zionsville, IN, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025. Born on January 26, 1968, she was the beloved daughter of Jack and Zella Hacker.
Lori was a free spirit who embraced life with an open heart and a deep love for nature. As a grower at Heartland Growers, she found joy and purpose in nurturing plants, a reflection of her caring and giving nature. She was happiest outdoors—boating, hunting, or simply soaking in the beauty of the world around her. Country music was her soundtrack, and her adventurous, carefree spirit made her a true “hippie for life.”
She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, always putting the people she loved first. Lori’s warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her, and her presence brought laughter, love, and light into countless lives.
She is survived by her loving significant other, Kerry Graham; her nieces, Mandi Trott (Josh) and Alli Biddle (Scott); and many cherished family and friends who became family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Zella Hacker, and her sibling, M.G.
Lori’s life will be celebrated on Sunday, February 16, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Osprey Point Pavilion, Morse Beach. Friends and family are invited to gather, share stories, and honor the incredible life she lived.
Lori’s spirit will forever be carried in the rustling of the trees, the rhythm of the waves, and the hearts of all who loved her.
