Loretta Ann Fowler

Loretta Ann (Gentry) Fowler, 73, of Greencastle, Indiana passed away on Tuesday November 12th, 2024. She was born on Monday, August 20th, 1951, in Bloomington, Indiana to the late Burton and Elsie Gentry. 

Loretta graduated from North Putnam High School in 1970. Shortly after high school, Loretta started her working career at various facilities including product assembly at Mallory Inc, dental assistant for Dale Oliver, Headley's Hardware and F.B. Distro and retired after many years of service. In 1975 she began growing her family, starting with a son, Tom Fowler followed by a daughter, Sherry Fowler. 

She was an enthusiastic lover of Elvis, admirer of beautiful flowers and tending to her flower gardens, and above all else, her undying love for Smokie, her grand kitty. 

Lorretta is survived by her son Tom Fowler (Erin), her daughter Sherry Fowler, grandson David Fowler, grandson Gage Fowler, and granddaughter Emma Fowler and several nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Burton and Elsie Gentry and her sister Linda Frost.

Graveside service is Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer, Indiana.
