Lois Jane Sinnett

Lois Jean Sinnett, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 14, 2024. She was born November 5, 1934 in Beech Grove, IN to James and Ora (Smith) Brown.

Lois attended Herron Art School and for most of her life worked as an artist, painting mostly landscapes, and was a art teacher in Central Indiana under the name, Lois Brown Sinnett. She was a member of the Indiana Artist Club and Hoosier Salon, and has shown her work at numerous galleries throughout the state. With the crashing economy, Lois had to get what she called a "real job" and found herself working as an accountant at Eli Lilly Company, where she retired after 18 years. Lois married Richard Sinnett and together they raised three children, Joseph, David and Daniel Sinnett. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard Sinnett; and son, Daniel Sinnett. 

Lois is survived by her sons, David J. (Deborah) and Joseph R. Sinnett; granddaughter, Shannon Sinnett and grandson, James Sinnett.
