Livia Eugenia Filimon

Livia Filimon, 86 years of age, passed on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Allisonville Meadows.
Livia was born January 31, 1936, in Scarisoara Noua, Romania to the late Iosif and Ileana Purcel. She was the oldest of 5 children, 4 of them preceded her death.
She was a survivor of the second world war. With her parents she took refuge in the Romanian Carpathian Mountains for 5 long years.
Livia was educated in Cluj-Napoca Romania where she finished her high school.
Livia married the late Teodor Filimon in 1956 and one child was born from this union. Livia worked for 35 years in health care. She loved to take care of people. She liked to cook and have dinner with the whole family. In 2014 she moved to her son, Ovidiu, in the US. Livia loved to read her bible, praying for the others, spending time with family, laughing and always wearing a smile on her face. She was a loving & caring person, devoted wife, mother, and friend.
Livia leaves to cherish her loving memory her son, Ovidiu Filimon; her granddaughter, Raluca Filimon; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022, at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46250 at 11 A.M. Visitation will be from 10 – 11 A.M.
