Lines Bacon Jr. was born on November 18, 1933, in Trigg County, Kentucky. He married Barbara Jean Petty in 1956. The couple was married for 65 years. Lines worked most of his adult life at Chrysler Corporation and retired in 1988. He passed away on September. 1, 2022.

He leaves behind his wife Barbara, his daughters Jean Cherry, Janice Scalf and Toni Johnson and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
