Linda was a giving, loving, and caring person who made a career of helping the elderly and disabled as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, and a Certified Medication Assistant. She was a warrior and overcame many obstacles in her life and didn’t hesitate to share those lessons with others. She enrolled and attended college pursuing a degree in General Studies as a support to her youngest to follow her dreams.
Linda was an accomplished crocheter as well as canvas and needle point artist. Linda enjoyed music, concerts, and ballets. She was a true crime junkie and was often found watching her “shows.” She enjoyed genealogy and completed a comprehensive family tree that will be passed down for generations. She loved to travel and took her first vacation in 2016 to Florida to swim with the dolphins followed by another vacation in 2017 to Florida and then New Orleans. We didn’t make it to Mardi Gras as planned to “let it all hang out” and collect our dabloons and necklaces but we did make it to the French Quarter and Cafe du Monde. She enjoyed the tour of the city, the river boat ride, and walking the famous parks. Although the sun has set on the life she lived, the light she shared will be remembered and carried on in the hearts of those who knew her, loved her, and cherished her! A Celebration of Life will be arranged at a later time.
