Lincoln Matthew Swails, born on October 6th 2015, passed away at the age of 9. A bright and energetic third-grade student at Weston Elementary School, Lincoln was a cherished source of joy, laughter, and love to everyone around him. He was the youngest of four siblings—three older brothers, Jayse, Marshall, and Reed, and older sister, Kaylee—who will forever hold his memory close in their hearts.
Lincoln was fascinated by space, with a particular love for the planet Saturn. He often found himself dreaming of its rings and moons, and his curiosity about the universe reflected his adventurous spirit and eagerness to explore.
He is survived by his loving mother, Carrie Neely, his father, John Swails (and bonus mom, Chelsey), his Papaw Gary and Nana Joyce Neely, his Papaw Dean, and his three older brothers, one sister, and a host of other relatives. He was preceded in death by his Nana Tiny, Aunt Tanya (TanTan) Swails, Uncles Scott McAllen, Danny Dean, Josh Reed, and Elijah Swails.
A private memorial service will be held for the family. Following this, a public service will take place at Realife Church, with a viewing 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. and a Celebration of Life directly after.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Realife Church Kingdom Builders to help kids go to summer camp. This year was supposed to be Lincoln's first year to go to camp and the family would like to send other kids in his honor. You can donate by clicking the link below and following these instructions: In the drop down menu under Fund, select "Kingdom Builders" then write "In honor of Lincoln" in the memo line. https://pushpay.com/g/realifechurch
Though Lincoln may no longer be with us, his spirit and the joy he brought will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved him. Rest in peace, sweet Lincoln. You will always be our shining star.
