Leon "Lil Walt" Skyler Motley, Jr.

Leon S. Motley Jr., born Walter Goodloe lll to Janet Ann Teague and the late Walter Goodloe Jr. on March 23, 1979, in Indianapolis, IN. Leon affectionately called “Lil Walt” was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many, and had many joys in life. Leon “Lil Walt” attended the Indianapolis Public School system where he played football. He was actually very good and had the ability to become a pro football player had he chosen to pursue. He loved listening to, and making music and was a very talented rapper. He was very funny. He loved laughing and telling jokes and was loved by all who knew him.

Leon “Lil Walt” was preceded in death by his father, Walter Goodloe Jr., parents Janine & Leon Motley “Blance” Sr.“, his sisters Latoya Teague and Bernita Goodloe; and bonus brother, Derek Scisney.

Leon “Lil Walt” Motley Jr., transitioned to his eternal home on July 3, 2024, at the age of 45 years old. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Janet Ann Teague; Six brothers, Perry Teague Sr (Latosha); Donquaz Goodloe (Khadija); Dejuan Goodloe; Dearies Goodloe; Dalton Goodloe; and Samuel Goodloe. Three sister, Shalika Rashid; Ashley Teague; and Andrea Teague; bonus brothers, William Scisney and Michael Scisney; aunts, Rejeana (James)Adkins, Teresa Russ, Dawn Goodloe, Lisa(Gerald)Sims, Pamela Davis, Sylvia Andrews, Debbie Burris, Lolita Robinson, Tampenicko Price, Turnica McDade, and Colisha McDade; uncles, Derrick(Rosita)Goodloe, Timothy(Jeanette)Linley, Jeffrey Davis, Eric Andrews, Grant McDade Jr, Deborishus McDade, and Colen McDade; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends and family are welcome to gather for a funeral service in celebration of Leon’s life on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 11:00am – 12:00pm at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46250. Funeral service to follow visitation at 12:00pm at the funeral home.
