Lazious "Lazarus" Steptoe

Lazarus Steptoe, 70 , of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on February 18, 2020.

Lazarua was a retired Army Communications Specialist and he served two tours in Vietnam was assigned as communications specialist for the 82nd ABN division for ten of his twenty years in the U S Army.

He is preceded in death by his Mother Cora Williams and Father Robert Steptoe. He is survived by his wife Sandra Steptoe of 39 years, Mr. Steptoe has two sons from a previous marriage Daniel Dianellos and Cheyenne Steptoe and three sons in his present marriage Robert Steptoe, Charles Steptoe and Brandon Steptoe. Mr. Steptoe has three surviving brothers James Crawford, Robert Steptoe and David Steptoe and five grandchildren Cheyonna Steptoe, Dalton Dianellos, Troy Steptoe, Nala Steptoe Mya Steptoe and Elijah Steptoe.

Visitations for Mr. Steptoe will be from 5pm - 8pm on Tuesday February 25, 2020 at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46250 and Wednesday February 26, 2020 from 10:30am and 11:30am. Funeral Service at 11:30 on February 26, 2020. following with the funeral at 11:30am, military honors will be held at his final resting place Crown Hill Cemetery.
