Laura J. (Shonk) Noe
85, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, January 9th, 2022 peacefully at Community Hospital North. She was born January 8, 1937 to the late Raymond D. and Grace (Yeager) Shonk in Mt. Vernon, Indiana.
She worked a few jobs throughout the years to make ends meet. Besides being a full-time homemaker, she loved to travel and make memories with her grandchildren and dearest friends.
Laura is survived by her sons, Richard Ewing Noe, Robert Franklin Noe, Raymond Douglas Noe; daughter, Threase Iline Ray; sister, Opal M. McElroy; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell V. Noe Sr.; son, Wendell V. Noe Jr.; daughter, Tanna Jean Huber; and two sisters, Barbara P. Niles and Alice L. Matlock.
Funeral Services will be at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN on Thursday, January 20, 2022. Visitation will be held from 12 – 2pm with services beginning at 2pm. Interment will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Fishers, IN.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes or Alzheimer’s Associations.
