Larry Ross

Larry W. Ross, 79, passed away at his home on March 17, 2025 with his loving family at his side. He was born on July 18, 1945 in Beech Grove, Indiana to Leon P. and Margaret (Branstetter) Ross. They have preceded him in death. Larry worked in the Railroad Industry for 42 years, retiring as a Conductor, (and a damn good one, as his friends said), in 2005. Two of those 42 years were spent with the Army at the Transportation Center at Ft. Eustis in Virginia.

He loved all sports but Yankee baseball was the most dear to his heart. Larry also enjoyed gardening, classic cars, playing cards and entertaining family and friends. He was a fun-loving and very giving man and he will be sorely missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Gail; children, Cindy (Clay) Alsept, Sandy (Jeff) Beaty, Larry (Susan) Ross and J.C. (Candy) Stogsdill; siblings, James and Wendy Ross and Jeannine Ross Kyle. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and another arriving in August.
