Larry G. Johnson Sr.

Larry G. Johnson Sr. of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away peacefully in his home on December 14th 2020. He was born in Brazil, Indiana on April 20th 1941. He was part of the senior class of 1959 at Brazil High School.
He was a proud Marine and veteran of the Vietnam War. He enlisted in 1959 and served until 1989 when he retired at the rank of Gunnery Sergeant. He was a member of VFW 261 and the American Legion 495.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Russell Lee and Mary Agnus Johnson; his youngest son, Bobby Joe Johnson, and his wife of 35 years, Sharon Ann Johnson.
He is survived by his sister, Sandra Nicoson (Jeff); his children Brenda S. Adams, Larry G. Johnson Jr. (Sheryal), Cianna Johnson (Millisa), Lisa Cullen (Walter), Paul Schane (April), Steven Schane (Leslie); along with many nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Hamilton Memorial Park in Westfield, Indiana on December 28th at 1:00pm.
