Larry Richard Folz

Larry Richard Folz passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023, at the age of 81 in his home surrounded by family after a battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Linda Folz, daughters Michelle Folz (Valita) and Tamara Mattingly, grandchildren Seth Mattingly, Blake Mattingly, Tori Fredland, and Amelia Fredland, brother David Folz (Eileen), sister Karen Denning (Chuck).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Folz and Jessamine (Metz) Folz. 

Larry graduated from Dale High school in 1960 and served four years in the United States Air Force. He worked in auto sales/management for most of his career. 

Larry had a passion for vintage Chevrolets. He was a member of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America and a member of the VCCA Indiana Region. Larry and his wife made many lasting friendships and enjoyed tours with the club. 

After retirement, Larry enjoyed traveling and cruising where he made many long-lasting friendships. 

Donations may be made to Southside Animal Shelter or the American Cancer Society in Larry’s name. 

Arrangements entrusted to Indiana Funeral Care. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
