Leonard Michael “Lil Mike” & “Smoooth” (with 3 o’s)” Bryson Jr was born July 23, 1967 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Leonard Michael “Big Mike” Bryson Sr & Clarissa “Kakie” Bryson Brown who proceeded him in death, went home to be with the Lord November 6, 2024.
“Smoooth” graduated from Broad Ripple High School in 1985. He was voted best dancer in his senior class. He worked at Chrysler Foundry for 5yrs. He received his barber license in 1999 from Kenny’s Barber College. He was baptized at Eastern Star.
“Smoooth” was loved by all. He never met a stranger. He would say the party didn’t get started until he arrived. One of his favorite sayings was ‘If the kitchen ain’t smokin, you must be jokin’”! He loved to draw & spray paint, DJ & party, loved to play & coach basketball, he loved roller skating and that is how he met his wife Yolanda Elaine Ferguson Bryson, loved to play cards & Yahtzee, loved his Pacers & Colts! And most of all he loved his entire family!
“Smoooth” leaves beautiful memories with his father Leonard Michael “Big Mike” & Tianya Bryson Sr.; sisters: Kizzie Evette Williams, Latifa Turner Bryson & Michelle Brown; brothers Stephen Brown Jr & Ebony Brown; daughters: Kenyata Bryson & Paris Bryson; son: Leonard Michael “Mikey” Bryson III, grandchildren Germany & Sebastian “Deuce”, ex-wife Yolanda Elaine Ferguson Bryson and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
