Kurt Williams

Our dear son, grandson, and brother, Kurtis Edward Williams, passed far too soon on July 17th, 2023, at the age of 32. Kurt was born June 11th, 1991 in Springfield, Massachusetts to his loving parents, Kenneth and Christina Williams, before returning to Indianapolis, Indiana as a family, where he spent the remainder of his life. 

As a child, Kurt's spirited, theatrical personality found a home in the performing arts. From a young age, he loved to dance and sing and to entertain those around him. 

He graduated in 2010 from Warren Central High School, where he shone on the stage through his love for show choir, as a performer in the group Connection, and musical theater, with roles in "Aida" and "Godspell." He also thrived as a member of the state champion Speech and Debate Team.

He went on to complete a Bachelor's degree in psychology in 2014 from Purdue University, the alma mater of many of his preceding family members. 

Kurt will always be remembered for his bright smile, infectious laugh, and vibrant spirit. He could light up a room with his energy, and his charisma, warmth, and easy-going nature made him friends wherever he went. We will all miss his joyous and kind-hearted soul.

In addition to his parents, Kenny and Chris, Kurt is survived by his adoring grandmother, Barbara; his sister, Kelsie (Rachael) and their two children; as well as countless aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Indiana Funeral Care in Greenwood, Indiana. Visitation will be from 12pm to 2pm with a memorial service to follow at 2pm.
