Kristin Laverne Weddle

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Kristy on February 13, 2025, at the age of 61. Kristy was born on May 28, 1963 in Indianapolis to Barbara Frazier and William Ellerman. She graduated from Western Boone in 1983.

She was known for her strong will, unwavering determination, love and support for her family and her dear friend Diane. She spent many years working for Kauffman's and then enjoyed her time watching Pastor Matt's services, spending time at Family pitch ins, loving Kathy's cooking most, watching Andy Griffith and doing crafts. 

Family mattered more to Kristy than all else. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sisters: Kathy (Jim) Boyne and Karen Ellerman, brothers: Brian and Michael Ellerman, daughters: Lisa (Mike) Ellerman, Amanda (Darren) Mathews, nieces: Leeann (Ron) Johnson and Shawn Moore, nephews: Rick Miller, Travis (Ashley) Lee, and grandchildren: Chris, Kyleigh, Kenzlei, Braedyn, Jaxsyn, John, Tori, Emmy, Maria, and Destiny. So many great nieces and nephews will miss her too. 

Kristy's final gift was to donate her eyes and she encourages anyone to sign up as an organ donor, as well.

The family will have a celebration of like at a date to be determined.
