Kevin Couts

Kevin W. Couts passed on May 31, 2021, in Indianapolis, IN at the age of 59.

He was born on November 8, 1961, to Cecil and Nina Couts. Kevin graduated from Brownsburg High School in 1980 and worked the last 14 years at Stoops Freightliner. On Kevin’s free time, he enjoyed spending time with friends and family, fishing, and birdwatching. He was a Colt’s fan and especially enjoyed fine cigars and music (with the noted exception of Bruce Springsteen).

Kevin is survived by his daughter, Brittany Searcy; son, Daniel (Nunu) Bass; grandchildren, Samson and Ruby; and siblings, Dennis (Valerie) Couts and Kerry (Glenda) Couts. He is also survived by Michael (Rachel) Couts, Josh (Kasey) Couts, Ryan (Laurel) Couts, Adam (Anne) Couts, and six great-nieces and great nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Cecil and Nina Couts.

The visitation and service are on June 15, 2021, at 10am – 12pm. It will be held at Faith Baptist Church, 3860 E Main St, Danville, IN 46122. Burial is at Brownsburg Cemetery.
