Kenneth Bruce Busch

Kenneth Bruce Busch Sr., passed away in Noblesville, Indiana on June 12, 2024 at the age of 83. He was born on July 16th, 1940 to Edwin and Estelle (Dusz) Busch (formerly Buczkowski) at St Mary's of Nazareth, Chicago's first Polish hospital. He was so proud of his polish ancestry. 

Ken graduated from Glenbrook North High School in Northbrook, Illinois in 1958. He then simultaneously married, maintained a full-time job, and completed his bachelor's degree at Bradley University in Peoria, IL. with his 2 young sons attending his graduation. He was a proud member of Theta Chi Fraternity. He moved his family from Peoria to Carmel, Indiana in 1971. 

Ken married Linda (Ellis) in 1997. They moved from Carmel to Noblesville, IN; where they joined St. Michael’s Church. He went on to share with her his love of adventure, outdoors, camping, gardening, reading, new technology and the Indy 500 for the rest of his life. He had a special ability to make friends everywhere he went. 

He worked his entire life in the food industry, beginning with store management at Kroger, moving on to sales and marketing as a food broker with Prestige American, Birdsong, and Turley & Associates.

Ken is survived by his loving wife Linda; as well as his former wife Kathleen (Blanc) and their children; Kenneth Bruce Busch Jr. (Angela); Keith Busch (Stacey Arthur); Kristin Busch (Scott Johnson); and Kari Myers (Dave Myers); his grandchildren Nicole; Zachary; Michaela; Kasey; Emilia; Peter; brother, Dennis E. Busch; nephew, Dennis C. Busch; and niece, Amy Busch Eicher. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister-in-law Margaret Busch.

Kenneth's legacy of friendship, kindness, dedication, and love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed. 

A Memorial Service will be held July 23, 2024, at 4:00 pm at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, located at 444 South Harbour Dr. Noblesville, Indiana 46062. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the National Association for Children of Alcoholics https://nacoa.org.
