The world just isn't as bright since we lost Kelsey Redmond on September 1, 2021. A treasured daughter, sister, niece, and friend, Kelsey brought light to every life she touched. While we are grateful for the joy she spilled into the world from her arrival on February 23, 1995, our lives will feel ever so empty without that laughter lighting our way.
Kelsey possessed that enviable combination of being smart, talented, and funny beyond belief. Though she dabbled in just about every media, from polymer clay to paper twirling, she always created meaningful art that gave us a glimpse into the heart that was always open for others. Her observations and quips could cut to the quick, but no matter how sharp the sting, you had to admire the brilliance behind her words. Her knowledge of the world seemed to suggest a thousand past lives stored in the girl we so adore. The things that made her shine so bright also weighed on her heart and mind, so may we all find comfort in her finding the happiness she so desperately sought.
Kelsey is survived by her loving parents, Richard and Patricia Redmond; Rachael, her best friend and sister since birth; and her triplet brothers, Matt and Adam, always a part of "the babies." She is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Though Kelsey's family adored her, she also had a chosen family of friends that will miss her just as dearly. They all feel the absence of her everyday.

In lieu of flowers, we are asking that donations be made to the Humane Society or a local animal shelter of your choice. Her cats, Mustard and Tunny- lovingly called "the chickens"- will always be her pride and joy.
