Kasean James Cade

Kasean James Cade, 15, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on July 10, 2024. Born on December 18, 2008, in Indianapolis, he was a vibrant presence known for his humor, warmth, and intelligence.

Kasean was a beloved member of Warren Central High School, where he excelled in track and field and football. He aspired to become a doctor, reflecting his deep compassion and desire to help others. In addition to academics and sports, Kasean enjoyed a full life with interests in music, online gaming, football, and wrestling. He was a dedicated Vikings fan. He treasured time with family and friends and had a special bond with his dogs.

He is survived by his mother, Amanda Pruitt; stepfather, Gerald Sims Jr.; father, Gregory Cade; brothers, Evan Pruitt, Gregory Cade Jr., and Trevon Cade; grandparents, Darrell Pruitt, Christine Koch, Stacey Johnson,  Linda and James Randle, and Michael Cade; aunts, Paula Cade, Gina Pruitt, Angel Pruitt, Sherry Goode Jessica Hindman; and uncles, Darrell Pruitt Jr, Antonio Brown. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Tamara Anderson, and great-grandparents, Shirley Pruitt, Shirley Sandlin, and Marvin Pruitt.

Services will be held on July 23, 2024, at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250, with public visitations from 11 am to 1 pm, followed by the service from 1 pm to 2 pm.
