Karen Lynn Wright

She was born 6/14/51 in Rockford, IL daughter of Carl and Rose (Domico)

Bacino.

A devout Catholic committed to her faith. Karen attended Boylan Catholic high

In Rockford, IL where she worked throughout high school to pay her tuition.

She was a cradle to casket Catholic and proud of her religion. Karen moved

To the Indianapolis area and met the love of her life Jeff Wright. They were married

In March 1998. She was a lifelong dog lover. Her first fur-baby, a Westie named

Mac had died. Karen surprised Jeff with their current West Highland Terrier Mikey

who has brought them great joy over the years.

Karen spent her working life as an office manager, dental assistant and receptionist

In Rockford, IL / Indianapolis area. She believed “the essence of living is giving”.

Karen gave back to the community by volunteering her time to St. Simon Catholic church,

working at soup kitchens, handing out clothes to the needy etc.

She left behind her long-time friends at Brookville Lake Resort, her current neighbors

and her beloved family. We will miss her hearty laugh and beautiful smile.

The family is extremely grateful to Brightest Touch Compassionate Home Care; Ayesha,

Keisha and Daisha which did a wonderful job. Community Home Hospice did an excellent job

keeping Karen comfortable. We are thankful for the professional & dedicated team of

Pammela Murray and Social Worker Lisa Michel.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Rose Bacino and sister Cindi

Ciaccio. Surviving are her brother Sam Bacino of Poplar Grove, IL; husband Jeff Wright,

Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins; Ben Ciaccio Indianapolis, Nick Ciaccio and daughters

Stella and Anne Greenwood, IN; Sammy Joe (Joy) son Sammy Leo Olympia Fields, IL and

Christina Bacino, Kona,HI.

In lieu of Flowers, memorials can be made in Karen’s name to the Humane Society of Hamilton

County 10501 Hague Road Fishers, IN 46038.

Funeral Services will be held at: St. Louis De Montfort Catholic Church 11441 Hague Rd.

Fishers, IN 46038 at 11:00am Wednesday September 27th. Visitation at 10:00am at St. Louis

De Montfort Catholic Church.
