Karen Sue “Susie” Williams, 64 of Indianapolis, IN went home to be with the Lord, with her family by her side on October 15, 2021. She was born August 12, 1957 in Noblesville, IN to her Mother, the late Althea Holman and to her Father the late William Holman.
Karen was a Christian believer of the Most High and made a conscious decision to follow the Lord. She was baptized into Christ as a young woman and helped lead her children and grandchildren in the same light.
Karen attended Arsenal Tech High School in 1971. She worked as a homemaker for all of her years, caring for and nurturing multiple generations. Karen Sue became a Mother figure at a very young age and was guided through strength and love to be able to care for and protect those that she loved. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and was a BIG couponer that loved to shop sales. She was also a movie and music fanatic. Over all that she enjoyed, nothing was more important than her family and making memories with her grandchildren and her Great Grand-little’s.
Karen married David Clinton Williams Sr. on December 25th, 1975. To this union was born: Catina (Chris) Manawat, David (Karen) Williams Jr., and Candace Denise Williams, all of Indianapolis, IN. Karen was blessed with 17 Grandchildren: Vincent Manawat, Kristen Showman, VaToria Manawat, Erik Brown, Jalin Manawat, Jeremy Brown , Darian Williams, David Williams III, Daren Bunton, Lauren Williams, Darrius Williams, Marcus Robertson, Carmella Pittman, James Bunton, Rylie Robertson, Delaney Bunton and Lucien Bunton Jr. She also adored her 6 Great grandchildren: Nadia Serrto, Kingsley Manawat, Nova Brown, Bayani Manawat, Kem Manawat and Jermany Brown. She had an unconditional and unwavering love for her siblings: Kevin Holman, Kim Holman, Karla Stewart, Katrina Holman and Kenneth Holman.
She is proceeded in death by her Mother Althea Holman; her Father William Holman; Her Husband David Clinton Sr.; her brother Kevin and her sister Kim Holman.
Karen will be lovingly remembered by her friend of over 50 years Danitra Smith and a host of other family and friends.
