Judith K. Aitken, age 72, of Indianapolis, IN died Wednesday May 6th, 2020. She was born February 17, 1948 in Evansville, IN to the late Comer and Rosemary Morgan. She is survived by her husband Gregg W. Aitken and three children Tammy Dulworth, Shannon Harlan, and Christy Barker. She had six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was married to Gregg for 52 years. Gregg and Judie enjoyed traveling together and spending time with their family at the campgrounds.
Judie was a Girl Scout leader and a member of The Eastern Star at Irvington Lodge #364 for several years. As she got older, she continued staying involved in Girl Scouts with her children and grandchildren. She traveled to Europe with them and participated in several camping trips. Judie was an avid collector of frogs and loved to decorate her home and campsite with them.
She was the oldest of four children and loved picking on her three younger brothers, Gregg, Jeff, and Ritt Morgan. She worked in the Health Care Facility for 16 years and the IPS school district for 10 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed. The funeral service will be at Indiana Funeral Care on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 in Greenwood, IN. Visitation is from 2-3 pm. The service beginning at 3:00 pm is open to immediate family only. The burial service to follow starts at 4:30 pm in White Lick Cemetery at N White Lick Road, Mooresville, IN 46158.
