Judith Beverly Berg

J. Beverly Berg, 84, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023 in Carmel, Indiana, where she was a resident. Beverly was born April 29, 1939 in Linton, Indiana to Earl J. Thomas and Dora Myers. She married Ronald Berg on May 13, 1961 in Solsberry, Indiana; they were married for 51 years.

Beverly retired from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana after working several years in the Athletic Department.

She was quite social and enjoyed visiting with family and friends, doing puzzles, listening to music and was a talented pianist. Beverly adored family and her favorite pastime was spending quality time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, Dan (Beth) Berg of Greenwood, Jane Barretto of Carmel and Patty Berg of Indianapolis, brother Lee Myers of Texas and five grandchildren, Jonathon, Emily and Kate Berg and Grant and Pierce Barretto.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald A. Berg, her parents and brother, Paul D. Myers.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 PM on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, 3800 E. Third Street, Bloomington, Indiana 47401.
