Joyce Jo Hoover

Joyce Jo Hoover (Jennette), 84, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021. Joyce was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis and a faithful member of Evanston Wesleyan Church. Joyce was an avid dog lover, card player and computer geek. Joyce passed down her love of books to many of her family members. Joyce was a staple of her neighborhood, living in the same house for over 50 years and driving the same car for almost 30 years!

Services will be held at Indiana Funeral Care located at 8151 Allisonville Road on Monday, December 6, 2021. A private family gathering will take place from 1pm-2pm, with a public viewing between 2pm-3pm and final services starting at 3pm.

Joyce is preceded in death by her husband Charles “Bud” Hoover and her son Charles “Chuck” Hoover (Debbie). Joyce is survived by her children Marilyn Al Matar (Salah), Perry “Mike” Hoover, Terry Hoover (Toni), and Larry Hoover (Jenny). Joyce is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
