Our beloved wife and loving mother, Joyce Annette Bonner, 78, of Zionsville, went to her paradise in heaven on June 25, 2020. She is the daughter of the late Jesse and Iris Williams who raised her and seven siblings with upstanding morals and values right here in the Midwest Hoosier Heartland.
She was born on June 8, 1942 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She had a gift for serving others with true compassion and for most of her career she was a certified nursing assistant. She worked in nursing assisted living facilities in Indianapolis and was known for her worth ethic and contagious smile.
She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother first and foremost and retired early after 25 years to care for her three granddaughters. Family was her priority and she also loved baking, bargain shopping, camping, accompanying her husband fishing, music, dancing, and going to the Covered Bridge Festival.
She enjoyed life to its fullest capacity and cherished every moment with her beloved family and friends. She never met a stranger with her genuine warm hugs, a smile full of light and a laugh you would never forget. Her love and kindness for others had no boundaries and she touched so many people with her caring soul. She was also much like her father and did not have a sense of direction which led to many funny stories!
She is survived by her husband of 46 ½ years Robert Bonner, daughters Stacy (Jim), Kelly, Bobbi, Gina (Brad) and son Toby. Her grandchildren Ashley, Cory, Zack, Leslie, Anthony, Cole, Caden, Ella, Maddie, Lauren and Tommy Jr. Her siblings Judy (sister), Vicky (sister), Olga (sister), Jesse (brother), Jenny (sister) along with several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
She is preceded in death by Jesse (father), Iris (mother) Jerry (brother), Verlin (brother).
We invite you to celebrate her love of life on July 2, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis.
