Joseph Andrew Martin, 38, passed away on Thursday July 1, 2021 at his residence in Bloomington.
He was born December 26, 1982 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He graduated from Columbus North High School in 2000.
Joe was a very friendly, outgoing person who loved his family and people in general. He never knew a stranger and was willing to help anyone he could. Joe loved nature and being outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and just being outside. Joe loved God and was growing strong in his faith. He enjoyed and was excited to read and learn the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Bible.
Joseph was preceded in death by his dad, William L. Martin, and grandparents, T.M. & Verda Martin.
He is survived by his mother, Kathy Jenkins; brothers, Chris Martin and Patrick Martin; son, Hayden Martin; grandparents, Phillis Jenkins, F.O., and Jane Jenkins; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins whom Joe loved all of them.
A private viewing is planned for immediate family. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation toward the funeral expenses.
Joe will always be very loved, cherished, and truly missed.
