Johnny Dale Frye, 83 of Greenwood, will be fondly remembered and celebrated for a life well-lived. Born on October 16, 1940, in Nineveh, IN, to his late parents, John and Mamie (Anderson) Frye. Johnny passed away peacefully on July 10, 2024, in Greenwood, IN. He was a proud Army Veteran, having served his country with honor.
Johnny thrived in various roles throughout his life, from working for Coca-Cola for over a decade to dedicating over 20 years of service to Eli Lilly in the pharmacy industry. His entrepreneurial spirit shone through as he owned and operated Four Seasons Antique Shop in Nashville, Indiana, leaving a lasting impact on the local community.
An adventurer at heart, Johnny found joy in spending time at casinos, with slot machines holding a special place in his heart. He resided in Las Vegas for over 30 years, immersing himself in the vibrant culture of the city. Among his many accomplishments, his time spent in business and his dedication to his craft stand as a testament to his hard work and passion for life.
Johnny was preceded in death by parents and his beloved siblings: William Frye, Edward Frye, Lester Frye, Doris Giger, and Mary Taynor.
A Graveside Service will be held in Johnny's honor at Nineveh Cemetery on July 13, 2024, at 10:00 am, to commemorate his remarkable life.
