John K. Daniels

John K. Daniels, 71, of Greenwood, Indiana passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020.
John was born on Friday, October 8, 1948 in Bluffton, Indiana to John Daniels and Winifred Louise Gass.
John loved many sports especially the Yankees, Colts, and was a huge Purdue fan or as Kimberly call it “the other school” since she was an IU fan. He was a sports reporter for several years for high school football games, and when he was teaching, he was a basketball and football coach to both boys and girls. He also enjoyed playing computer games and did so for many hours. John loved all his dogs and made sure he walked them every day and they all then would go home and have a good nap.
One of his main loves in life was his grandchildren. He really enjoyed spending time with them. He was very proud of Sydney who is a graduate of The Citadel; Charlie, a graduate of Clemson; Grace beginning her college career this year; and Seth, Rusty, Cash, Coral, and Cecelia. He loved his sons, Chad and Brian, and stepdaughters, Shawn, and Tracey.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Daniels; sons, Chad Daniels and his wife Sarah, Brian Daniels; stepdaughters, Shawn Martin, Tracy Daniel, and husband Russ; his grandchildren; and his best pals, Lexie, Lucky and Willis.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 10, 2020 from 2:00 until 4:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, 2433 East Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana 46143,
Memorial service will begin at 4:00pm.
